It's been a couple hectic weeks and my schedule has been anything but ordinary. I go from working in the lab from 10 am- 2 pm to 8am - 10 pm or midnight somedays. . . it seems like I'm not getting any closer to my goal and I only have a few more days to put it all together. . . wish me luck.

I know it's been awhile since I've written on here so here's what I've been up to:
*June 3-6 I went to Baltimore for a couple days for the NCCWSL(National Conference for College Women Student Leaders) conference
*After that I've been spending the majority of my days in the lab working on my project for my REU at NDSU
That's pretty much it, I've only been home once since I started up here and there's not much else to tell ya. Now I'm just excited for my day to sleep in(I get this friday off) then it's the 4th and I have no fireworks.
Have a Happy 4th, and don't get any crazy ideas on how NOT to use fireworks

Even though classes concluded over two weeks ago its seems like I only left my dorm room yesterday. . .
Between packing, unpacking, and repacking things seem to be hectic. I leave May 25th for my internship in Fargo, ND. I'm so excited for everything that i'm going to do(if i knew what that all entailed i would feel so much better). Then there's packing for Baltimore. SCARY. My first plane ride by myself AHH. lol. I can't believe that i have to wake up at 6 am at the beginning of June for that flight. I have gotted so used to staying up late and sleeping til noon(sometimes later, oops).
Well i hope everyone hasa great last week of May!!

I don't have much to tell you this week, other than to have a Happy Easter!

I don't know how many of you remembered what week this was. . . well it had April Fool's day in it. Tuesday night i decded to pull a few small pranks. . figuring who ever hit first would have the surprise factor. But when I looked at my phone Wednesday night turns out my roommate had sent me a picture of my side of the room . Now, I can be considered a messy person, i just say that i organize everything differently. So, in the pic, my room was covered with toilet paper and bright blue duct tape. . .
The worst part about this prank was when I went to get dressed for the day. . . I had complications finding an entire pair of shoes to wear. . .
So here's what I learned for the week. . . . keep your doors locked. . . and be prepared for payback. . .

So Spring Break was a blast. The only thing I would change about it would be the whole sleeping thing, I didn't really get much of that in. Otherwise I loved seeing Washington D.C. and Princeton, but i sure coulda used more shopping time, lol. After all of the non stop walking and running to catch the metro and the occasional train and plane(my feet hurt) I was ready for some rest. Instead when I got back into Omaha I ended up going to Lincoln and then Rapid City. Overall i end up being in 3 different time zones in 4 days along with day light savings time coming around. Talk about an interesting sleep schedule.
Well I hope everyone woke up early enough on St. Patty's Day to remember to wear green, lol.
Have a great rest of the week.

Omg I can't beleive that this week is already almost over. I have no clue where the time went(or how I managed to get all of my assignments done, lol)
The hockey game that I went to was A-MAZ-ING, even though the team that I was supposed to be rooting for lost O well. I can't wait til i get to go home, do laundry, pack, and leave for my WIST(women in science and technology, I know I'm kind of a geek, lol) to Washington DC and Princeton. I guess to be honest I'm only looking forward to thte actually trip, I hate doing laundry, and I'm a girl so I always end up packing too many shoes. I hope it's everything that I expect it to be.
Until next week. . . . wait two weeks from now, lol
