So this last week/weekend was pretty fun.  As most of you know it was Halloween on Saturday and sadly to say I was not able to get involved in any of the festivities.   Being an RA I had to be on duty this weekend, but that comes with the job description.  I am staying busy and involved while continuing to maintain my grades even though its starting to become cruntch time.  It helps that I am done with my job for the season working at the state park.  This really frees up some of my afternoons.  For now I have managed to become busy again with teaching.  Today I will be going out to the Madison Middle School to teach a few 7th graders some biology.

Wish me luck,

Jordan Frisch

Ok so the weather is defiantly not nice these days…..it is extremely cold for my morning runs and it is still early October right???  But we have to deal with what we are given at this point.   The game on Sunday was fun but wish the outcome was different…defiantly not a Yankees fan. I now become an Angels fan for the rest of Post season play.   School is getting intense here….test and projects are coming to the fore front but it will be ok just have to take one day at a time. No big plans for the weekend so this blog is a short one this week. Hope everything is good with ya’ll take care.

Wow, the fun never stops.  I finally went back home for the first time in about 3 months.  It was nice to get a chance to relax and not have to worry about school.  The only problem with this is that I still had a bunch of homework that had to get done.  It was also a three day weekend due to Columbus Day (Native American Day in SD) yesterday.  I had to leave home to come back to work one day early which was not fun by any means.  I also had a group assignment that I had to get done late last night and that kept me up for quite some time.  Oh well, we got it done and everything went as planned.  I am now off to class and I'm sure its gonna be great.

Later,

So life this past weekish has been a roller coaster ride. Friday, Jill and I took off for the cities for the Twins game which was amazing! We won!! The entire weekend turned out to be amazing for the Twins so I was a happy camper. Saturday, we drove home and I then continued to drive to my home home of Freeman, SD where I hung out with my family(I call my parents house “home home” and my house in Madison home…weird I know). My three sisters and I went out for a girls’ night out. We ate at Texas Roadhouse and went to the movie Hangover. I had seen the movie before and was still laughing at the entire thing. Loved it! Sunday was family time; we watched football most of the day. I love watching football with my Daddy!! Monday, school started again and yep it was just as one would guess typical school nothing great. Tuesday, I was nervous the entire day because the Twins play ... Hello Everybody,

I thought since homecoming was over that time would slow down, yet again I am proven wrong by both the clock and my ignorance.  I should have known from experience that school was going to stay busy, even after Homecoming.  The home work just keeps piling on and with my job it's just crazy.  On a good note, my job is over at the end of the month.  On a bad note, the time in which I work now will be replaced with level 3 teaching experience.  Im not saying that it's a bad thing that I have to teach, it's just that when I finally get some free time it gets filled in by something else.  Life is supposed to get less hectic when your a senior, right?  Oh well, I will make due with what I have and be happy that I have it.  I also get to go home this weekend and see my family.  This is the first time I will be home since before the start of the school year, i think it is needed.&am ... Well, last weekend was homecoming and the week was full of everything but homecoming for me….I had three major tests Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Therefore, I had to be a good student and study…which by the way paid off so highly suggest being a good student it pays off in the long run. But other events went on as well…I decided that I could not handle everything on my plate this semester, so I had to stop tutoring…I know I know sad but I had to keep my grades up before I could worry about helping others. I will miss it but might be back at it in the spring. Wings were still attended on Wednesday night but went home right after to study….and some how managed to talk Jill Corbin into going to the last Twins game in the Dome with me this coming Friday; so we bought the tickets last Wednesday  and we are leaving this Friday the 2nd of October to go to Minneapolis totally ex ... Last week was Homecoming here and DSU and it was great.  I was in the Homecomingn court again this year and did not win but congratulations to Josh Thomas who was crowned king and Tiffany Nelson who is our queen.  Last week was full of activities, some of which included dressing up differently on each day and others like an eating contest.  The weekend finally came and like a true DSU student I celebrated like a Trojan!  After the football game I went to the bars (I'm 21) to hang out with my friends and tip a few back.  It was amazing to see all the DSU Alum come back to celebrate our homecoming.  The bar was packed and it took a while to get drinks but it was worth it, I was able to see many of my friends who had graduated.  It was a truely great Homecoming.

I'm back in the office for Student Ambassadors now for the second week and it seems that everybody here on campus is starting to fall into place.  Time is flying by and the homework is starting to pile up.  It isn't too bad it is just a lot to do when your busy.  With work, and school, and all the activities I am in, life gets pretty hectic, but it should slow down soon.  I'm out for now, have a good week!

Till next week,

Jordan Frisch
